Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP)

A Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) allows an investor to withdraw from his/her mutual fund scheme every month on a specified date. This withdrawal may be of a fixed or a variable amount and the withdrawal can be done annually, semi-annually, quarterly or even monthly.
